Skye Johnson

Licensed Master Social Worker

Originally from the Midwest, Skye graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Human Relations from the University of Iowa. After graduation, she went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She has spent the past 10 years working with children and teenagers with special needs.

While she loved working with children and teens in the school district, Skye realized she wanted to provide additional support and services to their parents as well. She decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work. During her master’s program, Skye completed her practicum in a rural community mental health center where she worked with a wide variety of children, teenagers and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, behavior disorders, and substance use disorders.

Skye graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work and a Certificate in Substance Use Disorder from the University of Kentucky in May 2025. After having her second baby, she is ready to get back to work. Skye is passionate about giving children, teens and adults a safe space to express their emotions and helping them learn coping strategies to achieve their goals. She is genuine, compassionate, hardworking and will put her whole heart into providing the best possible care for her clients.

In her free time Skye enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and Labrador retrievers.
